The Jose Rizal Shrine, Calamba
José Rizal was born in a two-story Spanish colonial mansion in Calamba, Laguna, on June 19, 1861. Rizal's original home was destroyed during WWII, but it was rebuilt on the same spot on June 19, 1950. Visitors can freely tour the shrine because Rizal's authentic items have been preserved.
