Captain Carniero’s Home

When Rizal was exiled to Dapitan, the Spanish commandant was Captain Ricardo Carnicero. On the 26th of August, 1892, Rizal wrote a poem called " A Don Ricardo Carnicero" in honor of the commandant's birthday. Rizal momentarily resided in the commandant's residence in Calle Real. This is where he resided in his time with Rizal.
