Rizal Monument, Madrid

In Madrid, Spain, one of the most famous Rizal memorials may be found. After finishing medical school at the University of Santo Tomas, Rizal settled in this city for over a decade. The city commissioned Filipino sculptor Florante Caedo to create an exquisite bronze statue of Rizal to honor the life of our national hero.
