Antarctica
Antarctica shows clear physical evidence of climate change due to the destruction of the ozone layer in that particular area. The ozone layer acts as a protective “sunscreen” to block out harmful ultraviolet rays. However, strong winds, depleting chemicals, and polar stratospheric clouds are creating an observable ozone “hole”. Less ozone present means more sunlight reaches the surface, melting glaciers and destroying habitats of polar bears.
