Finding Survivance: Indigenising Buffalo Bill's Wild West is a virtual exhibit intended to begin to reflect on the experiences of Indigenous performers in William F. Cody's Buffalo Bill's Wild West. Featuring a selection of photographs around kinship, meaning, and perseverance as well as a series of "historical" posters, I hope the exhibition will tell a more accurate story around Indigenous life and tell of their 'survivance' throughout American history.
