Japonisme in Paris

This exhibition explores the correlation of the Japanese woodcuts and French arts. This eastern art refreshes the views of Impressionists and Post Impressionists and inspires them to make art different in terms of subject matters and artistic preferences. Now we will find out the impacts of Ukiyo-e prints on impressionists' compositions, colors, and spatial relations etc.
