Slave Labor in the Iron Industry

The exhibition “Slavery in the Iron Industry” will educate viewers on the lives and conditions of slaves that worked at Batsto Iron Works or other iron industries or properties in and around the Metropolitan area. Being that this exhibition is based on the Batsto Iron Works, the exhibition will also show how the village progressed such as their involvement in the Underground Railroad.
