John Nash Letters

At the height of his career in mathematics, Dr. John Nash wrote a series of letters to the National Security Agency proposing ideas for an encryption-decryption machine. The ideas were acknowledged, but never adopted by the Agency. The letters were preserved with the Agency's analysis of his ideas in a collection of unsolicited correspondence received by the Agency in 1955.
